GARETH ASHTON

Gareth Ashton is a UK Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney, and has a Masters degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Bath..  Before qualifying as a patent attorney Gareth worked in-house with Philips Electronics and NXP Semiconductors.

Gareth works with a wide variety of multinational and SME clients in a range of electronic and mechanical based technologies. He is hugely experienced in preparing and securing robust patents around the world, as well as providing sound strategic advice on contentious matters and freedom to operate, and defending patents against oppositions.

Gareth has worked with clients in industries including fluid delivery systems, electric vehicles, software, high-speed optical and electrical communications, classified defence technologies, and there is little he cannot turn his hand to.
