Barbara is a paralegal in the IP Department, with a focus on trade mark law, brand protection, and IP enforcement. She holds a Frist Class LLB in Law from Queen Mary University of London and an MSc in Management from University College London.
At CEC, Barbara supports clients across a broad range of IP matters, from trade mark clearance and portfolio management to enforcement and dispute resolution. She advises on revocation strategies and collaborates with attorneys in the EU, China, and the US to manage international filings, oppositions, and contentious proceedings.
Prior to joining CEC, Barbara gained consultancy experience where she advised on market entry strategies, business development, and investment proposals. She has also worked in legal research and client advisory roles, developing a strong foundation in IP law, commercial awareness, and strategic problem-solving.
Barbara is fluent in French and English, with working knowledge of Spanish, and is passionate about intellectual property, brand strategy, and supporting creative industries.
