FIONA CHAMBERS

Fiona has over 25 years experience as an advisor to media and entertainment industry clients. Her work has a global remit, with particular expertise advising and negotiating the licensing, acquisition and exploitation of rights, television programming, formats and social media content across all platforms (including AVOD, FAST and streamers) as well as consumer product. She has wide experience across different perspectives: brand owner, distributor, licensee, licensor, rights holder, creator and channel or platform.

After qualifying in the City, Fiona moved in house as legal counsel for Chorion PLC dealing with exploitation and management of children's and adult literary properties such as Noddy, The Famous Five and the works of Agatha Christie. She was senior solicitor at TV producer and distributor RDF/Zodiak Rights (now Banijay Rights) for over a decade, across all aspects of international TV and format distribution business affairs for kids and adult brands, programming and consumer product. Since then she has worked both in private practice and in house - including as legal counsel for Caesars Entertainment UK, at the time owner of Playboy Club London and the Empire Casino Leicester Square - and particularly in the TV space, with independent producers across all genres including scripted and animation, distributors, broadcasters and US- and UK- based studios.
